This allows our residents to transition from the assisted living level of care into an area with a higher staff-to-resident ratio. Now residents can stay within their Sommerset Neighborhood longer as an alternative to prematurely transferring to a nursing home simply due to the requirement of more one-on-one assistance as health needs increase. The result is a higher quality of life for a longer period of time and reduced stress for residents and families.
Progressive Care
Level 3 Includes:
- Requires assistance in bathing or showering, provided three times per week
- Requires assistance with dressing and undressing, provided daily as needed
- Incontinent care management daily as needed
- Requires modified diet
- Intermittent nightly checks by on-site staff
- Assistance with all adult daily living
- Requires one-two person assist with ambulating and transferring
- Requires frequent orientation to daily routines
- Assistance with eating
